About Byron
Byron sits right on Highway 14, which makes the drive into Rochester quick and simple. The town was platted in 1864 and has grown steadily as more people look just outside the city.
It has its own city parks, a summer public pool and recreation fields, and it’s a short drive from one of the county’s most popular parks.
Things to do
Oxbow Park and Zollman Zoo

Neighborhood parks, ball fields and a summer public pool.
Somerby Golf Club
A private golf club and neighborhood on the north side of town.
The homes
Byron has a mix of established neighborhoods near the center of town and newer subdivisions on its edges, along with some larger homes around the golf course.
