Privacy policy

This policy explains what happens to information you share through this website, which is operated by Kevin Rudquist, a licensed real estate agent with Counselor Realty of Rochester.

When you fill out a form on this site, I receive the information you enter, which may include:

• Your name, email address and phone number
• A property address and details about your home, for a valuation request
• Areas, price range and timing, for a home search
• Anything you write in a message

You choose what to share. Phone number and most details are optional.

I use your information only to respond to your request and to help you buy or sell a home. That may mean calling, texting or emailing you about your request.

I don’t sell your information, and I don’t share it with third parties for their own marketing. I may share it with Counselor Realty of Rochester where real estate rules or brokerage policy require it, or with others only when you ask me to, such as a lender you want to be introduced to.

The website doesn’t keep a database of form submissions. When you submit a form, it’s checked for spam and then delivered to my business email through an email delivery service. From there it’s kept with my normal business records.

To limit spam, the site briefly checks the internet (IP) address a form was sent from. That address isn’t included in the message I receive.

This site doesn’t use advertising cookies or tracking pixels. Like most websites, the hosting provider keeps standard technical logs, such as IP address and browser type, to keep the site running and secure.

Some links, such as the home search, open websites run by others, including Counselor Realty of Rochester. Their own privacy policies apply there.

You can ask me to stop contacting you, or to delete the information you sent through this site, at any time. Email krudquist@counselorrealty.com or call (507) 993-7306. Some records may need to be kept where real estate law or brokerage rules require it.

This site is meant for adults buying or selling homes and isn’t directed at children under 13.

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted here with a new date.
