More than a listing can tell you
Rochester’s neighborhoods and the towns around it differ in ways photos won’t show you: the commute, the schools, how homes hold their value, what’s planned down the road.
My job is to help you see all of that clearly, give you my honest take on every home we look at, and make sure you don’t overpay. The decision is always yours.

Start with a conversation
We talk about what you want, what you can live without, your budget and your timing. It saves a lot of wasted showings later.
Get pre-approved
A pre-approval tells you what you can comfortably spend and shows sellers you’re serious. If you don’t have a lender yet, I can introduce you to a few local ones.
Search and tour
I set up a search that matches what you’re after and get you into homes on your schedule. If you can’t make it to a showing, I can tour it for you over video.
Make a strong offer
When the right home comes up, we move quickly. I’ll help you write an offer that’s competitive on price and terms without paying more than you need to.
Inspection to closing
I coordinate the inspection, appraisal, lender and title company, keep you updated on every deadline, and walk through the home with you one last time before closing.

Not sure about the area yet? Renting for a while to learn the neighborhoods is a perfectly good plan, and I’ll tell you honestly if I think it fits you better. When you’re ready to buy, I’ll connect you with local lenders, inspectors and services so the move goes smoothly.

Questions buyers ask
How does a buyer’s agent get paid?
Before we tour homes together, we sign a written buyer agreement that spells out how I’m paid. The amount is negotiable. Sometimes the seller covers some or all of it as part of the deal, but not always. I’ll walk you through how it works before you sign anything.
Should I get pre-approved before I start looking?
Yes. It tells you what you can afford, keeps you from falling for a home outside your budget, and makes your offer much stronger when the right one comes along.
How much do I need for a down payment?
It depends on the loan. Some programs allow a small down payment, and Minnesota has assistance programs for first-time buyers. A lender can tell you what you qualify for, and I can point you to a few.
How long does it take to buy a home?
The search can take days or months. Once your offer is accepted, closing usually follows in about a month to six weeks, depending on financing.
